1st Workshop for the Digital Research and Development Fund for the Arts in Wales

The first workshop for the R&D fund for the Arts in Wales took place today in GATE arts centre (Cardiff, Wales) between 9am – 1.30pm.

Attendees: Rob Ashelford, Laura Drane, Lisa Matthews, Henry Rees, Bethan Gamble, Katherine Jewkes, Fergus Roche, Carys Ifan, Derick Murdoch, Jane Latham, Megan Lloyd, Louise Hobson, Jo Reid, John Collingswood, Hamish Fyfe, Khalid Al-Begain, Elin Haf Gruffydd Jones, Douglas Tudhope, David Frohlich, Owain Kerton, Andreas Vlachidis

The agenda of the workshop contained a formal introduction to the first cohort of funded projects (NoFit State, Sibrwd, Please Switch on Your Mobile Phone, UCAN Go)  and a formal induction to the R&D project by Rob Ashelford (Programme Manager). The participants also got the chance to involve in a peer-to-peer network activity. During the research consortium pairing session, project members, technical partners and research consortium members discussed and outlined the research and dissemination plan of the four individual projects.
